The Beginning

First of all, let me say: This blog is not about constipation.

On the contrary it is about my life, and all the crazy (yet amazing... sometimes) things that happen to me! My name is Kathryn and I am a teenager. Oh yes, the crazy kids who run through the mall trashing food courts and getting ticketed for PDA. That would be me (or... not really me... my friends.) I don't really have many super close friends, but I have lots of not-so-close friends. I've never had a boyfriend, never been asked out, never been kissed. Basically I'm a complete virgin.

So anywhoo -- enough about me! On to the reason for this blog!

I created this blog because I need a place to vent the crazy things that happen in my life. Now... I have attempted (and failed) to start blogs before. The reason that they failed was ultimately because I didn't post  often enough. I refuse to let that happen this time! So I am going to write stories about whatever crazy, ironic, interesting things happen to me throughout my life.

So, you might be wondering: Why would you call your blog Stuck in the Bathroom? What the heck does the toilet have to do with anything you have to say?

Well it all started about a year ago. I arrived early for a band competition and discovered that I had to use the restroom. Well, you see, this competition was held after school was already over, so the door was locked. My band director politely unlocked the door, and let me in the restroom. Now, you see, this is where it gets interesting. When I was finished doing business, and I tried to open the door to get out, the door was locked. This is just the kind of thing that is consistently happening to my friends and me. (By the way... I eventually got out after much pounding, screaming, and hysteric crying) A couple months afterwards, as I was recounting this event in my head, I decided that when I became an adult, I was going to write a book titled "Adventures from the Bathroom," as a tribute to my crazy life. I realize this is not a book, however, I decided to change the title and start a blog instead.

So ultimately: If you want to hear about all the insane events that happen to a teenage girl, and her crazy thoughts, then read this blog. Click the follow button. (:
